Letting go and giving in,

being at peace and giving in.

God who strengthens me,

has now set me free.

This life holds me down,

but when I  walk with him

I don't carry a frown.

I rejoice in being free,

because that is how we

all should be.

God shed his blood and died for me,

what more could I ask to see?

God is just and knows ours ways,

believe in him and he will help you

all your days.

He is faithful and has freely given us life,

What about you? Don't you want to be

apart of the afterlife?

Maybe today is the day you will see,

just how much he loved you to

shed his blood for you and me.

With God's arms open wide,

don't be scared and don't hide.

He will wipe your tears as you go,

this place here on earth is only

the rehearsal before the big show.

Stand tall and take pride,

by having God walk by your side.

What a beautiful poem. I would like to print this and place it in my quiet room. Thank you for sharing it Natasha.
